The tech360 Web Design Team

Yes, we’re spouses.
And that’s a good thing.
We know how to work together – to find the right solutions and work toward common goals. If you’re looking for a great website, you’re in good hands!

David Rumsey

Website architecture and coding

A true technophile who sees every coding scenario as a challenge to be overcome.

After graduating from Queen’s University with a BScH in Computing and Information Sciences, David worked in the Ottawa hi-tech sector as an embedded software engineer for 18 years – first at Nortel and later at a number of telecommunications startups.

David formed tech360 in 2012 to combine his enjoyment of helping others with his passion for everything “techie”. In addition to Web Design, tech360 also offers business IT services and residential computer help.

David spends time each day exploring new and emerging technologies and perusing innovation forums focussed on web design trends and fads. He brings an open mind and “why not?” attitude to web design and coding. His inquiring mind and experience as a software engineer allows David to fearlessly explore innovative programming ideas – he looks to incorporate a “cool factor” in every site he codes.

“If you can imagine it, I should be able to code it.”

Ellen Rumsey

Graphic design and writing/editing

A detail-oriented creative who pokes and prods until the solution is just right.

Ellen studied Corporate Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) and English Language and Literature at Queen’s University. Since working at several design studios in Toronto and Ottawa, Ellen has been a freelance graphic designer and wordsmith for more than 18 years. She is a long-time member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario.

Her talents include a no-nonsense design aesthetic, a diligent attention to detail and a flair for organizing information that makes it more accessible. She also enjoys every opportunity to write and copyedit for projects that require wordsmithing skills.

In August 2014, Ellen formalized her business under the name Frischborn Creative to establish a local presence in Grey and Bruce Counties. She enjoys working with David because the relationship combines their complementary, specialised skill sets – and enables them to work together.
